The St. John Vianney Catholic Church embarked on a multi-year capital campaign with the end vision of a completely transformed nave and complete renovation for two chapels. The newly formed space would pose traditional audio design challenges typical in churches with high ceilings and hard surfaces, but the church also wanted the new system to be as invisible as possible.
We achieved their goals by designing:
A brand new line array audio system with a proprietary finish now perfectly covers the sanctuary while blending seamlessly with the architectural lines of the ceiling.
Low profile speakers to extend audio into all areas of the space.
An updated wireless microphone system with automated digital mixing for the priests.
A brand new digital audio console perfectly hidden in a chamber behind the choir to provide quick access and invisibility.
